Georgina joined us in January 2023 as a Solicitor in the Family Department, dealing with divorce and private children matters. Georgina believes in offering a pragmatic and clear approach to advice without the need for legal jargon; fostering amicable negotiations where appropriate.
Georgina completed a BA degree in Philosophy at the University of Reading, followed by a law conversion course via a Masters in Law at the University of Brighton, gaining a distinction. A further distinction was gained via the University of Law, Guildford in 2020 where Georgina completed her Legal Practice course. Georgina qualified as a Solicitor on 31 October 2022.
Following her studies, Georgina completed her training contract with a Kent-based firm, spending valuable time in a number of areas of law before settling on family work as her vocation, although she has now also formed a keen working interest in the preparation of Wills and LPAs which she does alongside her work in the Family Department.
Georgina is an advocate for social mobility and inclusion within the legal industry and plays an active role as a mentor with the charity GROW Mentoring, offering support and guidance to those looking to join the legal industry.
In her spare time, Georgina enjoys painting abstract acrylics and socialising with family and friends.
Qualifications: BA Degree in Philosophy from the University of Reading graduated 06 July 2017, Law Conversion with a Masters in Law (LMM) from the University of Brighton 13 September 2019, Professional Legal Practice Course graduated 01 July 2020.
